The platform is operated by EMTHRIVE CREW SRL, a company registered in Romania, headquartered at Galați, Str. Regiment 11 Siret, Nr. 14 Bis, Bloc P4, Ap. 21, județul Galați, tax ID 47431301, Trade Register number J15/50/2023 (hereinafter “Emthrive”, “we”).

• Platform — the site www.emthrive.com and the tests made available through it.
• Test — a self-knowledge or orientation questionnaire, made up of questions with predefined answer options.
• Result — the personalized text generated automatically based on your answers, together with the profile across dimensions and the comparison with other participants, where available.
• User — any person who accesses the Platform or completes a Test.

Emthrive provides, free of charge, tests for self-knowledge, career orientation, parenting and personal development. Completing a test does not require creating an account and does not involve any payment.

At the end of the test we ask for an email address so we can display and send you the result. Providing the address is the condition for displaying the result, but it remains your choice: you can stop the test at any time, without consequences.

Important. These tests are for informational and self-knowledge purposes. They are not psychological assessment instruments and are not designed, administered or validated by psychologists. The results are not a diagnosis and do not replace specialist counseling.

The tests were created by the Emthrive team based on the experience of our own counseling programs. They are not COPSI-accredited psychometric tests and do not produce medical, clinical or legal effects.

The results are generated automatically, based on your answers, and are for guidance only. The decisions you make based on them (choosing a high school, a university, a career or a professional change) are entirely yours. For matters concerning mental health, we recommend consulting a psychologist or specialist doctor.

After completing a test you receive a unique link to the results page. For confidentiality reasons, this link is valid for 24 hours, after which it expires and the data associated with it is deleted.

The link is personal. If you share it with someone, that person will be able to see your result. You can retake the test at any time, free of charge, to generate a new result.

Some tests are aimed at pupils and teenagers. If you are under 16, completing the test and providing the email address may only be done with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. For this reason, when you initially choose “I'm a student (school)” or “I'm a parent (for my child)”, we ask you for an explicit confirmation to this effect.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child's data reached us without your consent, write to us at contact@emthrive.com and we will delete it without delay.

EMTHRIVE CREW SRL is a personal-data controller within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

What data we collect

• the email address you enter at the end of the test;
• the answers you give to the questions and the result calculated from them;
• the category you choose at the start (pupil, student, adult, parent);
• aggregated statistical data that does not allow you to be identified (for example, how many participants obtained each result).

Why we process it

• to calculate, display and send you your result — basis: performing the service you requested;
• to send you, if you have given your consent, information about our programs and resources — basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time;
• for aggregated statistics on the use of the tests — basis: our legitimate interest in improving the content.

How long we keep it

The answers and result associated with a link are kept for 24 hours, after which they are deleted. The email address is kept for as long as you maintain your consent for communications or until you request deletion. Aggregated statistics, which cannot identify you, are kept indefinitely.

Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent your data. We may only pass it to providers who help us deliver the service (hosting, sending emails), strictly within this purpose and under data-processing agreements.

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection and withdrawal of consent, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (dataprotection.ro). For any request, write to us at contact@emthrive.com; we respond within 30 days at most.

The tests platform works without advertising or profiling cookies. We only use the elements strictly necessary for the site to function. If we introduce analytics or marketing tools, we will update this document and ask for your consent beforehand.

The questions, result texts, materials, design, logo and code of the Platform belong to EMTHRIVE CREW SRL and are protected by copyright law.

You may use your result for personal purposes: you can save it, print it or share it with someone. Reproducing, publishing, reselling or using our tests or texts for commercial purposes, on other platforms or in other materials, is not permitted without our written consent.

• automated extraction of content (scraping, mass crawling) or copying the question database;
• repeated, automated completion that distorts the statistics;
• attempts to access other users' results, to bypass security measures or to overload the infrastructure;
• using email addresses that do not belong to you or another person's data without their consent.

We may restrict access, temporarily or permanently, if these rules are not respected.

The Platform and the tests are provided “as is”. We do not guarantee that the result of a test fully or accurately describes a person's personality, abilities or professional future.

To the extent permitted by law, Emthrive is not liable for decisions made based on the results, for indirect losses, for the temporary unavailability of the Platform or for the content of external sites we link to.

We make reasonable efforts to keep the Platform continuously available, but we may interrupt access for maintenance, updates or technical reasons. We may also modify, add or withdraw tests without prior notice.

We may update this document whenever necessary. The applicable version is the one published on this page at the time of completing the test, and the date of the last update is shown at the top of the page. Continuing to use the Platform after a new version is published means accepting it.

These terms are governed by Romanian law. Any disagreement is first resolved amicably, within 30 days of a written notice. If no solution is reached, jurisdiction lies with the courts of Galați.

As a consumer, you may also contact the National Authority for Consumer Protection (anpc.ro) or the European online dispute resolution platform (ODR).
